Terry Badar

Terry began her journey into yoga in 1999 after suddenly going deaf in one ear. She continues to use her practice to help her slow down, listen to her body, and find balance in life. A yoga instructor since 2005, she provides a safe, inviting, compassionate environment (mixed in with a sense of humor!), which allows her students to gain a sharpening of awareness that strengthens them physically, intellectually, and emotionally.  Terry enjoys sharing what she’s learned with her students so they can experience an increase in vitality, be challenged, and yet become quiet and centered. Terry also teaches yoga to the elementary and junior high school students she tutors after school and finds that the yoga keeps them active and focused (and it’s fun)!

Yoga remains a center-piece of Linda's life, and has given her a sense of ease, calm and balance/centering in her busy family life bringing up three boys in Ventura. She is dedicated in her own yoga practice by continuing to take workshops and teacher trainings with Certified Iyengar teachers including Chris Stein, Marla Apt & Ann Delury. She is passionate to share her knowledge of Yoga and to empower her students to develop their own love for Yoga so they too can also reap the many gifts of mind, body and sprit it has to offer.
